CCom is next the communication the centralized On Board System's configuration and maintenance tool containing the following features:
Remote Functions
CCom is a Web based solution that allows browser based secure access from anywhere within the organization. It enables customer care agents based on their security role to remotely invoke the following functions:
- Un-lock and Lock Vehicle Doors
- Activate and Deactivate Immobilizer
- Un-lock Door for a Dedicated Access Card
- CCom applies roll and user based security standards
Remote Configuration
Fleet configurations are managed by CCom on a centralized server. Multiple versions and configurations can be managed by the system and allow for optimal flexibility of different customized configurations across the fleet or fleet sub groups. Here some examples of configurable parameters:
- Customer Care phone number
- Mileage / Mileage Correction Multiplier
- Control of the Central Vehicle Lock System
- Gas Card Codes
- RFID Reader Configurations - Multiple Standards Across the Fleet
- Configurable Business Functions (e.g. Drivers License Confirmation, Early Arrival Enablement, PIN Enablement)

Once the On Board System is installed in the vehicle it will start retrieving the latest Firmware and Configurations and automatically download the updates without interaction from the Central Office.
Firmware-Update
CCom allows for immediate and scheduled single and batch updates of the On Board System firmware. The System assures update privileges and verifies completed updates automatically. No updates are initiated if the ignition is turned on or a reservation is currently active.
A typical firmware update takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
Remote Monitoring
Vehicle configurations and signals can be monitored in real time by the system to support customer care and trouble shooting.
